Meetings between activists of student associations and employees of the educational department with first-year students have started at Brest State Technical University. The students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering opened the series of traditional meetings.
The Head of the Department of youth educational work, Denis Viktorovich Budnik, highlighted the main directions of the department’s work, spoke in detail about social, pedagogical and psychological services, the volunteer movement, and the activities of the trade union organization.
Representatives of the primary organization of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, the youth law enforcement detachment, the student council and the sports club of BrSTU also spoke to the students. At the meeting, the young people learned a lot of useful information about the opportunities and ways to fulfill their creative potential within the university. We really hope that BrSTU freshmen will become active participants in the social life of the faculty and the university.
