Introducing Chinese students to Belarusian nature

On the first Sunday of October, employees of the International Office organized an excursion to the Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park for Chinese students arriving for the first time to study at the university, so that they can get acquainted with our country.
The Chinese students were able to admire the views of Belarusian nature, enjoy the clean forest air, and walk through the fallen autumn leaves rustling under their feet.
The museum staff introduced foreign guests to the long history of Belovezhskaya Pushcha and its significance for the culture of the Belarusian people. The young people were especially interested in the guide’s story about the diversity of Belarusian flora and fauna and the measures taken by the state to preserve them.
Chinese students also visited enclosures, where they had the opportunity to observe animals in their habitat.
At the end of the event, foreign students of the university tasted dishes of national Belarusian cuisine.
