The XV National Festival of Architecture traditionally takes place in Minsk from October 2 to October 21.
The Architecture Festival is a unique report of Belarusian architects, reflecting their main achievements, identifying and demonstrating the best works of Belarusian masters of architecture. The theme of this year’s event is “Architecture and urban planning — the basis of territorial development.”
The festival was opened by the XVII Republican competition of diploma projects for graduates of higher and secondary specialized architectural schools of Belarus. The competition is aimed at identifying, supporting and encouraging talented youth in the field of architecture, urban planning and architectural design. In addition, simultaneously with the competition of diploma projects, the V Republican competition of architectural drawing of students of higher architectural schools of Belarus was held.
The diploma project of a graduate of the Brest State Technical University Sergei Kunitsky, completed under the guidance of senior teacher Trotsyuk E.B. was awarded a 2nd degree diploma in the category “Architecture of Residential Buildings”.
Based on the results of the architectural drawing competition in the “Painting” category, the works of architecture students Morgun Ksenia, Berinchik Ksenia and Shumilova Miroslava were awarded III degree diplomas.
