To the 106th anniversary of the October Revolution

On November  8, 2023, a film lecture was held in the assembly hall of the Brest State Technical University dedicated to the 106th anniversary of the October Revolution — an event that radically changed the whole world and for the first time on one sixth of the land brought to life the ideas of social equality and justice. From that moment on, the ideas of socialism gained enormous popularity in the world and the governments of almost all countries began to carry out reforms to improve the situation of the common people. Finally, our republic owes its statehood to the results of the October Revolution.
As part of the film lecture, students were shown the documentary film “October 1917: The Unnoticed Revolution”, as a result of which students tried their hand at an essay competition. After checking the essay by an expert commission, the winners of the competition will receive memorable prizes.
