First-year students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of BrSTU visited the enterprise of the joint venture «Santa Bremor» LLC. “Santa Bremor” is a strong brand with a long history, the most recognizable fish products brand not only in Belarus, but also far beyond its borders.
After completing a safety briefing, the students walked around the plant. During the excursion, the accompanying employee of the enterprise told the students about the history of the enterprise and its development.
The most interesting moment was a visit to one of the processing departments, where students were able to see the entire technological process of manufacturing fish products from start to finish. Once in the workshops and observing the work of the plant, one comes to realize the large scale of production.
Currently, the Santa Bremor company is improving its lines by automating production processes. Thus, simpler, more labor-intensive, but less skilled work is performed by robots, and people work on more complex operations. During a tour of the department, students learned about the specifics of the equipment operation and received answers to their questions. BREMOR uses the best technological innovations and strictly controls quality at all stages of production.
