BrSTU and Innopolis University signed a cooperation agreement

In order to establish and develop direct and mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of education and science, an agreement was signed between Brest State Technical University and the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization of Higher Education “Innopolis University” (Russian Federation).
Innopolis University is one of the three official science cities in the country, along with Skolkovo and Koltsovo. The university has 17 research laboratories and 9 development centers; the university cooperates with 297 leading IT companies in Russia. Leading Russian and foreign experts in the fields of IT and robotics teach at the university.
The priorities of interaction between the parties include the development of proposals for improving the legislative framework relating to the circulation of intellectual rights, the development of competencies for working with digital services for the management of intellectual property rights, the development and implementation of commercial projects related to robotics, geographic information technologies and artificial intelligence, and software development.
The parties also agreed to jointly distribute information and educational materials about the particularities of the circulation of intellectual property rights in the digital environment in the educational and business communities, and hold public discussions, forums, and conferences.
The agreement will become the basis for the further development of joint research projects, development and experimental work.
